STC passes 270 clubs

STC has passed 270 clubs, reinforcing its position as one of Sweden's largest gym chains. The milestone reflects a dual growth engine: a steady cadence of new openings across the country alongside the acquisition of established, locally rooted gyms.

Acquisitions

On May 12th, STC acquired Top Fitness Center in Billdal — for over 30 years one of the area's most established gyms, offering group classes, personal training and wellness services. Its roughly 1,500 members continue training as usual and are automatically welcomed into STC's network, with access to gyms across Gothenburg and Kungsbacka, including the Åbybadet center and its group-class program.

The club will reopen under the STC brand as STC Billdal Kungsporten on July 1st, 2026.

New openings

On May 30th, STC opened its flagship club, STC Sturegatan, in the historic Park cinema (Biografen Park) at Sturegatan 18. Spread across three floors and around 1,000 sqm, the club pairs modern training equipment with the building's original period detail, and offers STC's popular group-class program.
